Authorities in Paris, France, have brought charges of indecent assault against a policeman after CCTV footage emerged showing him inserting a baton in a 22-year-old black man’s behind.
CCTV footage captured the police performing the indecent act and later taking the man away
Four policemen are involved in the horrific incident; however, only one has been charged. Reports indicate that bloodstains from the black man, identified only as Theo, are still visible at the scene of the crime.
The footage emerged and has sparked outrage in Paris and throughout France. Protesters have taken to the streets to speak out against such brutality.

Some of the protests have turned violent, with some incidents of vandalism and destruction of properties reported.
Theo’s sister and brother-in-law spoke at one of the rallies and called for greater protections against police brutality.
