According to Egboje who shared the news,at least 18 people burnt beyond recognition in a terrible accident that occurred few days ago along Akure highway.He wrote….
‘No fewer than 18 people were roasted to death in an autocrash which occurred along Akure-Owo road. The accident which happened around 5pm occured at Uso area of the road leaving the victims burnt beyond recognition. My correspondent in Owo confirmed to me that the two buses loaded fully with passengers colluded with a truck that is loaded with petrol. Fire started immediately and many of the victims were trapped in the accident resulting into their death. Some of the victims were students of a institution from Osun who were on excursion.Federal Road Safety Commission and Fire Service of Ondo State sector were all helpless but they tried as they can but people burnt beyond recognition’
